In the Woods

Today, we decided to free ourselves from the urban jungle, free from the hustles of city life, free from the people we deal with everyday, free from many other things… and become one with nature. Today, we are a tiny part of the vast woods. 

In the woods, I have experienced the real meaning of solitude. The place is so serene and peaceful… the kind of tranquility anyone in the city would kill to have. 

In the woods, I was able to forget all my worries and doubts even just for a day. I realized that one does not need to keep pace with the other everyday racers to be able to enjoy and find contentment in life. For, indeed, the real joy lies in the serenity of the heart and peace of the mind.

Looking through the Dots

Jheck would usually not allow me to go out wearing something as sheer as this blouse, but, hey, it doesn't hurt to give those you meet a little treat! Errr... well, it probably does, but this one's for my blog, so allow me to indulge just this once, pretty please... 

You might already have seen me wear this in one of my previous posts, but this time I opted to pair this 'mademoiselle' blouse with this white semi-balloon skirt and finished it off with this vintage shoes that Jhet and I got from the thrift displays.

Nonchalance

The hat, oh the hat has indeed caught so many attention. 

Today, I went to the mall with my girlfriends and got a 'Thriller' song from the guy serving our lunch. How many times do I have to say this, the fedora is Taylor Swift inspired, not MJ! So as not to ruin my perfect day and my awesomeness look, I placed a pretty little smile on my face. I don't know you and I don't care! Oh please, stare if you want, recover if you must, 'cause you can't wear this hat like I do. :)
