Blue me Away

You know what they say about Mondays being manic? Well, that one's true for me today. I am one busy bee. Got one task done already, but I am now finding myself confused over what to do next. Ugh! Okay, so let's take a short break and blog, shall we?

Here's another look that is composed of mostly thrifted finds. Yep, the denim jacket, blue halter tank, and white jeans are all jewels from the thrift shops. You may be sick of me always repeating this, but I'm saying this again anyway - style and cost do not always go together. Looking good does not always mean digging a hole in your pocket. It's always about attitude, confidence, creativity, and... cheesy it may seem, inner peace.

I kind of feel like being mitchy-matchy today, so here's an all blue and white combo!

Floral Maxis

Our fourth day in Cebu was mostly spent shopping. We submitted our final yearbook layout to the printing press and went off shopping right away. It has already become customary for our group to bring pasalubongs to the those left in the office whenever we submit the yearbook for printing, so we hopped from one mall to the other in search for the perfect pasalubongs.  And what’s more comfortable for walking around the huge malls than a good pair of flat sandals and a maxi skirt? Plus, wearing maxi skirts make it way easier to try on clothes, especially pants.

Yes, it was really hot! :D

Again, sorry for the crappy pictures - manual focus lens. Ugh!

Strollin’

It’s our third day in Cebu and we ended it with a nice stroll around Ayala. Well, this look is not actually my usual strolling look, but we spent the morning working, so that’s enough excuse, isn’t it? ;)

Scanning through the pictures, I noticed that this entire look is made up of pieces that are thrifted, except for the blue flats and accessories. Well, this is not actually the first time this happened. Since most of the items in my closet are thrifted and this blog aims to show that style and cost do not always go in a sentence together, I often put together an overall thrifted look.

So, you ladies out there who just want to look your best, remember that you can always get pretty items from the thrift shops. You don’t wear the cost anyway; you wear good clothes that suit you. So, it’s only a matter of putting items that look good together and being your best all the time. J
